1968
Founded by Henry Hampton, the film production company is located initially at 46 Plympton Street and moves to 501 Shawmut Avenue in 1981. A production company for African-American documentaries and industrial films, it goes on to produce the Award-winning Eyes on the Prize, as well as The Great Depression, War on Poverty, Malcolm X: Make It Plain, and I’ll Make Me a World.
